Toddlers – Kindergarten (15 months – 3 years
Children enjoy age-appropriate activities, as well as a creative Bible lesson and worship. Sunday mornings are designed to communicate the love of Jesus to children in simple, interactive ways they’ll respond to.
Preschool/Kindergarten (3 months – 6 years
We are committed to creating safe and fun environments where your children are taught about the Bible and the love of Jesus through relevant, age-appropriate kids services. Our ultimate hope is to see a generation of children come to know God at an early age.
agapeKIDS: 1st – 6th grade
Our services are designed to present the love of Jesus to elementary kids in a way that is exciting and makes sense to them. Every week they get to play games, experience dynamic worship, work on a Bible memory verse, learn an interesting object lesson, and receive prayer and make friends in a small group. We also give them a take-home devotional, which you can work through as a family during the week.
Agape Kids FAQ
It’s my first time at Agape, what do I do?
As soon as you walk through the doors, there will be people and signage to point you in the right direction. There is a check in station for all age groups where you will register your children. After your child is registered, you will be encouraged to take a tour of our agapeKIDS to ensure your comfort.
What are your procedures for keeping the children safe and accounted for?
Safety and security are fundamental to our agapeKIDS experience. At Agape, we use safe systems and procedures to ensure that each child is checked in and accounted for at all times while participating in agapeKIDS. Children can not be picked up by an adult without the security tag that is printed out at check in. Parents can be notified at any time on a screen in the worship experience if they are needed in the children’s area.
Who will be working with my child? Or how can I become involved?
agapeKIDS volunteers are highly dedicated and see the opportunity to serve children and families as a privilege. All of our volunteers pass security screenings and an online training course. Please contact us if you would like to get involved as an agapeKIDS volunteer.
What exactly happens in agapeKIDS?
Every child will experience specially selected music, teaching (both live and or on a big screen) and small group activities, accompanied by several fun games and activities.
Who are the workers?
A collection of both staff and volunteers from within Agape Church. All of them have been individually selected and properly trained, and have gone through a criminal background check. Each worker has a clear understanding of the large privilege and responsibility of teaching your children.
What should I do after agapeKIDS?
When you check your child out of agapeKIDS or on your way home, we encourage you to ask your child about what they learned and help them figure out how to apply it during the upcoming week.
